A large number of people visited the Museum in the morning to be guided by the historian and research assistant of the IMMA, Vangelis Kansizoglou.

Inaugurating for the first time the new digital applications of the IMMA, visitors had the opportunity:

  • To tour the permanent exhibition spaces through the new audio digital tour guide
  • To work in pairs and different age groups to solve puzzles and explore the secrets of IMMA’s permanent collection by playing a digital treasure game
  • To watch on the Museum’s screens the 4 new narrative videos of scenes from the Macedonian Struggle
  • To discover the objects of the IMMA’s collection and archives through the new electronic database and the 3D display of 300 exhibits

The next application of the audio digital guide will take place on Saturday 1 June, during the hours 11:00 – 13:00.

The digital applications of IMMA were implemented within the framework of the NSRF and the Operational Programme “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation” (EPAnEK) 2014 – 2020, co-funded by Greece and the European Union.
