“Butterflies of Spring and Poppies of Resurrection”: Easter workshops at IMMA
For another year the young friends of the Museum of Macedonian Struggle welcomed Easter in the creative workshops of the Museum with “Butterflies of Spring and Poppies of Resurrection!”
From Monday to Wednesday, the halls of the Museum were transformed into a colorful artistic and theatrical workshop where the children, combining Art and Folklore, discovered the symbolism and customs of Spring and Resurrection. Experiments with painters’ techniques, reading of children’s literature and creative writing, digital games and puzzles with the customs of Labras and many games in the courtyard of the 43rd Primary School, kept the enthusiasm and active participation of all the children undiminished!
The activities were completed with an interactive theatrical event where the children presented the thematic units of the workshops to their parents with music, movement and original texts written by them. Thank you very much for your great participation and the trust you show in the educational and cultural work of the Museum. See you in two months for our summer workshops! We would like to thank the companies Haitoglou Bros. and Koukakis Farm for their kind sponsorship.
