With great joy and emotion, the traditional closing celebration of the summer workshops of the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle took place on Friday, June 30th, in the courtyard of the 43rd Primary School of Thessaloniki. The children who participated in the Museum’s education and entertainment program presented to parents and friends the musical and theatrical event “Stories with a click!”, a pleasant journey through the history of Photographic Art in Macedonia, starting with the work of the Manakia Brothers from the Museum’s temporary photography exhibition “Yannis and Miltos Manakia. The faces behind the lens” and their own contemporary view!

Artistic constructions, robotics games, creative writing activities as well as sports activities and traditional dances were presented by the children, delighting the audience.

The event was honored with the presence of the Vice-Regional Governor of the Metropolitan Unit of Thessaloniki, Mrs. Voula Patoulidou, who discussed, danced and traveled with the children with her own… sports suitcase containing special memories and valuable advice!

We would like to thank the Director of the 43rd Primary School, Ms. Despina Seremeti, for our excellent and long-standing cooperation, the parents and children who participated in the workshops, the scientific team of the Museum and our external collaborators for the wonderful journey and the excellent result they gave us.

Best wishes for a happy and carefree summer!
