Workshop for the educational programmes of the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle

The Foundation of the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle, under the auspices of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, is organizing an open information day for teachers of Primary and Secondary Education, on Thursday, November 15, 2018, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, in the “Manolis Anagnostakis” hall of the Municipal Hall (1, Vasileos Georgios A’ Avenue). The theme of the conference is to inform teachers about the educational programs implemented by the Museum during the current school year 2018-2019.
The conference will be addressed by the Mayor of Thessaloniki, Mr. Giannis Boutaris, the President of the Board of Directors of IMMA, Mr. Nikolaos Margaropoulos and the Professor Emeritus of AUTH and Honorary President of IMMA, Mr. Ioannis Hasiotis.
The Director of the Museum, Mrs. Fani Tsatsaia, will present the multifaceted work of the Foundation, while speakers at the conference will include, among others, the Assistant Professor of the Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies of the University of Macedonia and Director of the K.E.M.I.T., Mrs. Stavroula Mavrogeni and Dr. Evangelos Hekimoglou, Doctor of Economic History.
The conference is held under the scientific supervision of the Centre for Research in Macedonian History and Documentation (K.E.M.I.T.) of the Macedonian Struggle Museum Foundation.
