Christmas Workshops

The popular Christmas Workshops of the Museum of Macedonian Struggle for children aged 5-12 will take place on 21 & 22 December 2019 at 9:00 – 15:00 p.m. at the Museum’s premises.
This year’s theme of the workshop is “Festive Memories in Macedonia” and it is a set of experiential and interactive activities with games, theatre, music, art and visual arts where children will learn about the history of the Kalantis from ancient times until today, as well as the festive customs of Macedonia and the rest of Greece, through video projection, memory games, tableau vivant, theatrical events and Christmas constructions made of recyclable material.
The workshops will conclude with the presentation of the children’s works to their parents. The scientific curator of the workshop is the Associate Professor of the University of Macedonia and Director of KEMIT Ms. Stavroula Mavrougeni , with the Pedagogue MSc – Writer Katerina Tzavara. Director of the Museum responsible for the organization is , Ms. Fani Tsatsia.
