  • U.S. National Archives, containing correspondence from the American Consulate in Thessaloniki during 1870-1912.

  • The Archive from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the periods 1871-1895 and 1896-1910.

  • The Public Record Office of Great Britain, containing correspondence from the British Consulate of Thessaloniki during 1879-1911.

  • The Archive of the Austro-Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Monastiri (1875-1915), the Consulate of Thessaloniki (1876-1915), the Consulate of Edirne (1873-1917), agents in Macedonia (1904-1909), the Consulate in Turkey (1902-1909) and the Consulate in Russia (1896-1912).

  • The Archive of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the correspondence of the Consulate of Istanbul and the Consulates of Macedonia (1903-1917).

  • The Archive of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It consists of the correspondence from the Consulates of Thessaloniki and Monastiri during 1900-1910.

  • The Kofos Archive. A large collection of documents (copies) gathered by Evangelos Kofos, which constitute an important source on Greek foreign policy in the Macedonian Struggle during the 19th and 20th centuries.

  • Documents from the period of the Macedonian Struggle. The collection was donated by the General State Archives.

  • The Archive of General Panagiotis Daglis, containing his correspondence with Macedonian fighters (Makedonomachoi) during 1908-1909 and the efforts made to restructure the Macedonian Struggle. This Archive was donated by the Historical Archives of the Benaki Museum.

  • The Codex of Irenaeus, Metropolitan of Kassandria. It consists of two original volumes with the correspondence of the Kassandria Monastery during 1907-1925.

  • The Macedonian Struggle Archive, containing reports by Macedonian fighters (Makedonomachoi). The Archive was donated by the Hellenic Army General Staff/History Directorate.

Private documents belonging to commanders

  • The Mallios Archive is the handwritten journal of his corps from April 1st to May 23rd, 1905.

  • The Efthymios Kaoudis Archive, containing his memoirs and archive material.

  • The Litinas Archive, containing his handwritten notes and personal items.

  • The Mazarakis Archive. It contains his Journal, describing his course to Macedonia from April 1905 to August 1905. There is also a letter to Exadaktylos, narrating the events during the period 20-30/11/1904. Moreover, the same Archive contains the works “Thoughts on the organization of defence in Macedonia”, “The War Journal 1897” and “Correspondence with Macedonian freedom fighters and officers”. It also contains photocopies of letters from the Centre of Thessaloniki, letters describing battles and letters by scouts during 1912-1913.

  • The Angeliki Metallinou-Tsiomou Archive.
  • The Vardas Archive (photocopied) from the Athens General State Archives. These are encrypted notes and his journal from April 1st to September 30th, 1905.

  • The Sotirios Misios Archive contains his handwritten notes, correspondence and his certificate of participation in the Macedonian Struggle.

  • The Ch. Drystaris Archive contains his typed memoirs.
  •  The autobiography of Panagiotis Papanaoum.
  • The Goethe Tzovaropoulos Archive, containing his notes, journal, certificate and photographic material.
  • The Chrysostomos Kalafatis (Metropolitan of Drama) Archive, containing photocopies of his correspondence during 1902-1909.

Archives for the period 1930-1983

  • The General Administration of Kozani and Florina Archive contains information on the Romanian Question during the 1930s, on the Bulgarian immigration in 1920 and on Social Welfare in 1945.

  • The Zachariadis Archive for the period 1950-1952.

  • The Athanasios Souliotis Archive, dating back to the days when he was the Prefect of Florina (1934-1937). It contains official documents, letters to the Prefect, as well as reports by the Prefect to the Minister of the Interior or the Technical Commander of Macedonia.

  • The Archive of the “Μakedoniki Zoi” magazine, donated to the Museum by Nikolaos Mertzos, containing mainly correspondence, as well as the magazine’s management during 1966-1983.

  • Brief chronological presentation of the historical identity of 2,500 communities in Macedonia, based on the archive material and bibliography.

  • Demographic data for the period 1900-2001.
  • Electoral data for the period 1928-1985.
  • The Archive of Immigrants from Macedonia (1950-1974), with personal files containing the details, place of departure and destination of 67,000 immigrants from Macedonia who were moved through the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

  • The Archive of persons from the 20th century, whose activity is connected with military, diplomatic or other aspects of the Macedonian Question.

  • The Archive of Macedonian freedom fighters (Makedonomachoi). It contains biographical information, derived from the Yearbook of Recognized Macedonian Fighters (Makedonomachoi) of the Directorate of Reservists, Veterans and Victims of War (DEPATHA).

  • The Photo Archive. It contains rare digitized and documented photographs, derived from the collection of the Foundation for the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle, as well as the collectors Yiannis Megas and Angelos Papaioannou. The photos show people, places and important events from the Macedonian history from 1900 to 1913.

  • The recorded Macedonian victims during 1901-1912.
